Bay Area Hospital Starts Public Vaccination Clinics

Bay Area Hospital has announced it will be providing first dose COVID-19 vaccinations to the community. Hospital officials say this Saturday marks the first of several clinics. This weekend’s clinic is for the group 80 years and older or those in Group 1a. That includes paid and unpaid health care personnel. The vaccination clinic is by appointment only. It is one of several organized vaccination efforts scheduled throughout the county. The Boys and Girls Club will host a clinic as well this weekend. Most are by appointment only. To book an appointment for the Bay Area Hospital Clinic, visit their Facebook page or call 541-266-7871. There is no out of pocket expense for vaccine recipients. Coos Health and Wellness continues to encourage those who are awaiting a vaccination to register online at www.cooshealthandwellness.org.
