Coos Health and Wellness has announced they will be moving forward with the vaccination phases. Those who are in Phase 1B Group 6 are now eligible to receive their vaccination. Group 6 includes adults 45 to 64 with one or more underlying conditions with increased risk, Migrant and seasonal farmworkers, seafood and agricultural workers, food processing workers, people living in low income, senior congregate and independent living facilities, and those who are experiencing homelessness. They are also giving vaccines to those displaced by wildfires, wildland firefighters, and pregnant women 16 and older. Coos Health and Wellness has a vaccination form for those who are interested in getting the vaccine on their website. There are also vaccination clinics throughout the county for those eligible as well as most pharmacies are now offering vaccinations.
