The investigation into the death of an 89-year-old Coos Bay woman is continuing after she was found deceased in a Barview-area home. The Coos County Major Crimes team was called in to investigate the death after the body of Teclutsa Margaret “Margie” Sause was located inside the home of her 32-year-old grandson Kevin Lee Yates. Coos County District Attorney Paul Frasier says she appears to have died from homicidal violence. A 911 call was received by the Coos County Sheriff’s Office shortly after 7 pm Saturday Night. The home was located at 90845 Robertson Lane about a block from Cape Arago Highway just south of the Coos Bay City limits. Yates was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.
