Earlier this morning Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies received a report of a red Mitsubishi Eclipse being driven recklessly on 101. This included illegal u-turns, high speed, and near collisions. Later in the morning, that vehicle was involved in a crash that resulted in multiple fatalities. The investigation is continuing. The Coos County Sheriff’s is asking for the public’s help with information concerning the accident. If you witnessed this vehicle between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. near Langlois to the intersection of 101 and Highway 42 please call (541) 396-2106 and leave your name and number for a brief interview with investigators.
