A Suspect involved in two separate incidents involving two deceased individuals remains on the loose. The North Bend Police Department was advised of a hit and run around 9:58 AM. When arriving they found two people on the ground. One was deceased and one female was taken to Bay Area Hospital with unknown conditions at this time. The 911 Dispatch center then was advised of a shooting at the Herbal Choices in North Bend at 10:01 AM where one person was deceased. According to District Attorney Paul Fraiser, the two incidents are connected, and believe one person is responsible for both. Police are searching for a 2019 Dodge 3500 white in color with license plate number 243 LWL. They also do not know if the suspect is a male or female. The Coos County Major Crimes Team and Coos County Major Crash Teams have been activated and State Police are sending resources from Springfield and another location. Police say that if you spot the vehicle to call 911 immediately and do not approach the vehicle. Eyewitnesses are being interviewed. The investigation is early, and more information will become available.
