Attention, North Bend residents! If you encounter door-to-door solicitors in our community, your safety comes first. Before engaging with them, please ensure they possess a valid Solicitors License, as mandated by North Bend City Code 5.16.030.
City Code 5.16.030: “No person shall engage in solicitation as defined in this chapter without first obtaining from the City Recorder a certificate of registration, and the carrying on of such solicitation without said certificate or the supplying of false information to obtain a certificate is prohibited and is a civil offense.”

NBPD wants to keep you informed about a recent safety concern. The North Bend Police responded to a call in the 1500 block of Garfield Street involving solicitors without a valid license. The complainant reported feeling threatened by two males wearing polos with “NWCS” embroidered on their shirts. They aggressively attempted to demonstrate a Kirby vacuum, but they had no vacuum with them.
If you encounter suspicious solicitors without a valid license, please report them immediately to the North Bend Police at 9-1-1 or (541) 982-2892. Your vigilance helps keep our community safe.
