Coos County has seen a spike in COVID-related deaths over the weekend. Coos Health and Wellness has reported six deaths since Friday. Those include an 82-year-old female, 71-year-old female, 96-year-old male, and a 95-year-old female all with underlying health conditions. They also reported a 62-year old female with unknown underlying health conditions and a 45-year-old male with no underlying health conditions had also died. Since yesterday, there have been 72 presumptive and positive cases reported. That brings the active cases over the last two weeks to 532. Coos County currently has 21 people hospitalized for COVID and 69 total deaths since the pandemic began.
