Each year, the Bus Jam collects Christmas toys for hundreds of children in Coos County. Thousands of pounds of food delivered to local pantries is also collected! You can help make Christmas magical for families in need, right here in Coos County!

The BUS JAM Challenge!
Each year businesses, non-profit groups, banks, hospitals, and sports teams challenge each other to see who can collect the most toys, food, and cash! It’s a fun way to engage employees to be a part of community events that benefit those in need! And, when you challenge, we talk about it on the radio and publish it on all our Social Media channels.
The collection sites Team North Bend vs. Team Coos Bay. A loss in the past has resulted in shaving heads, wearing opposite team colors, and other embarrassing tomfoolery. The winning city receives a Trophy!

NW Natural-The Annual NW Natural Super Market Shopping Spree will be taking place on November 8 at 8 a.m. at downtown Coos Bay McKay’s Market. The contestants include Fire Chief Jim Brown from the City of North Bend and Fire Chief Mark Anderson from the City of Coos Bay! This 90 second challenge will have both contestants filling shopping carts with as much food as they can. The contestant with the most items in their shopping cart will be announced as the winner. The food will be donated to the annual Bus Jam event.
Metro Bru will host their Coffee for a Cause all day on November 17th. One Dollar from every drink sold will be donated to Bus Jam to help with purchasing toys and food for those in need this holiday season. Visit Metro Bru on Facebook for specials.
Southwestern Oregon Community College will host their annual Van Jam event in front of Stensland Hall on their Coos Bay Campus. Van Jam will happen November 13 through 17th from noon to 3 PM. Bring your non perishable food items and weather permitting get hot cocoa and a cookie from OCCI. All proceeds will be donated to the Bus Jam.
