Coos Bay Police have released photos of the Person of Interest and vehicle that allegedly was involved with a shooting in Coos Bay this afternoon. The incident took place just before 5 pm at the Englewood Market. The male victim was reportedly shot in the upper left thigh. Police were able to render aid and interview him before medical personnel arrived and transported him to the hospital.
During the interview with the victim and witnesses, police developed a person of interest and vehicle description. That vehicle is described as a gold, 4-door Cadillac with license plate #088JDR. They also say the incident was not a random act of violence. The victim told authorities he was familiar with some of the occupants of the vehicle.
