The Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative (ORBC) has moved forward with the Coos Bay Bottle Drop Location on Newmark Street in North Bend after receiving approval on their application. According to Bryant Haley with the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC), OBRC has purchased the building and has plans to move forward with the location. Currently, the building permit includes new auto doors, a night drop door, and customer restrooms. The Coos Bay Bottle Drop Redemption Center will be located in the former Coca-Cola Building next to Ken Ware Chevrolet North Bend. Haley said the center is aiming for a late summer opening.
