Coos Bay Police are searching for a gold-colored, 4-door Cadillac that was seen leaving the scene of a shooting in Englewood late this afternoon. The victim is a male subject who was transported to Bay Area Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. According to Coos Bay Police Sergeant Hugo Hatzel, the shooting appears to be the result of a dispute, and both parties reportedly knew each other.
The suspect remains at large at this time. Police do not have a description, however, they did give a license plate # 088JDR. There may have been multiple witnesses in the vehicle. Hatzel says there was a firearm involved, so if the vehicle is spotted to call 911.
