Coos Health and Wellness has reported another COVID-related death. The newest death brings the county’s total to 18. The 72-year-old man reportedly had underlying health conditions and died at OHSU on February 11th. CHW also reported six COVID positive and presumptive cases linked to a Sause Brothers outbreak. Last week, North Bend Middle School sixth-graders went to comprehensive distance learning after a student in the PM Cohort tested positive for COVID-19. Superintendent Kevin Bogatin says the sixth-grade morning cohort returned to class on Tuesday. CHW says an exposure was reported in that same cohort this week. Bogatin also reported the afternoon Cohort will return next week.
