A fatal accident involving two vehicles and a pedestrian has closed Ocean Boulevard in Coos Bay. Coos Bay Police have made a procedural arrest. Police are not releasing any information until the victim is identified. The road will be closed for at least two hours while two reconstructionists are dispatched to the area to re-create the scene. Coos Bay Deputy Chief Chris Chapenar says one lane is open only for employees of businesses or residents between Walnut and 28th. He asks all other motorists to avoid the area until the scene is cleared. The accident happened around 8 this morning. The Coos County Major Crash Team has been activated.
