A HIGH WIND WARNING has been issued by the National Weather Service. Expect south winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts 55-65 mph possible on the South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast including the Gold Beach, Port Orford, Cape Blanco, and Bandon. The WARNING is from 4 AM Saturday morning through 4 PM Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…Damaging winds could blow down trees onto power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles due to the combined effects of strong, gusty winds, and heavy rainfall, at times. This could also result in some mud and rockfall in and near slide areas.
