The Lakeside Chamber of Commerce has voted to dissolve the organization after meeting today. In a post on its social media page, the group indicated the loss of two key members, the health of others, and the inability to hold events that led to the decision. The chamber board voted to dissolve the organization. The post indicates the board will pay bills and discuss the disposal of the chamber assets. Prior to COVID, the chamber held the Lakeside Crawdad Festival Mother’s Day Weekend. They also conducted other events around the holidays and Halloween.
