A woman has died after being struck by a vehicle in Lakeside on November 5th. The Coos County Sheriff’s Dispatch Center received a 911 call around 9:30 PM stating a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle on North Lake Road in Lakeside. Emergency personnel responded to the scene where lifesaving efforts were made on 43-year-old Jessica A. Collins of Lakeside but were unsuccessful. During the investigation, Police located the alleged suspect vehicle with the driver 43-year-old Jason M. Berrier of Lakeside. Berrier was arrested and is being held at the Coos County Jail on charges of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and First-Degree Manslaughter.
