Manhunt Underway in Lane County of Suspect in North Bend Shooting and Hit and Run

Three people have been reported dead and one in critical condition at Bay Area Hospital after a hit and run at the Mill Casino, a found body, and a shooting at a North Bend Dispensary all related.

According to Coos County District Attorney R. Paul Frasier at an afternoon Press Conference, the suspect allegedly ran down two people at the Mill Casino RV Park, killing one, then drove to the Herbal Choices Dispensary in North Bend and shot a person there killing them. Police ran the tags of the vehicle used and discovered that it was owned by an older man who was located at a trailer in the RV Park at The Mill. That person was found dead.

Video surveillance showed the alleged suspect buying ammo at Big Five after the hit and run and shooting at the dispensary. That is where police obtained a photo of the suspect.
The suspect then fled the area northbound on 101 to 126 where the suspect vehicle was found crashed and set on fire. A witness in the area stated she saw the suspect flee into the brush with a firearm in hand.
According to District Attorney R. Paul Frasier, Lane County authorities are on a manhunt looking for the suspect in heavy brush. Frasier says the community should still be concerned until he is located and apprehended as they do not know if there was a relation to any of the deceased individuals and that the suspect might return to the area.
If you see the suspect, call 911 immediately and do not approach the suspect.
