A mushroom picker missing since November 7th in the forest outside of Myrtle point was found deceased by searchers last night. A search party made up of friends, family and Coos County Search and Rescue located the body of 77-year-old Jessie Valle off a path around 11pm last night. According to the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Valle walked off on his own to search an area for mushrooms but never returned. Authorities say his friends searched for hours on Sunday before contacting authorities. Other searchers were brought in and a US Coast Guard Helicopter searched but unsuccessfully.
