Nicholson Facing Murder Charges Returned to Coos County Oregon

The man facing multiple charges in the deaths of four people in multiple North Bend incidents has been extradited back to Coos County. Extradition warrants issued by the Governors of Oregon and Wisconsin were served late last month on 30-year-old Oen Evan Nicolson. He appeared in Wisconsin Court on July 26th and reportedly indicated he no longer wished to fight extradition back to Oregon. Nicholson faces multiple charges including first-degree Murder and Assault, and failure to perform the duties of a driver to injured persons.

The charges stem from a crime spree at two locations resulting in the deaths of four people in North Bend on June 18th. Nicholson’s 83-year-old father, Charles Simms Nicholson, and 74-year-old Anthony Oyster died at the Mill Casino RV Park that day. 47-year-old Jennifer L. Davidson was shot and killed at a cannabis store up the road from the park. Oyster’s wife Linda died at a Springfield hospital in July after succumbing to her injuries. She and her husband were allegedly struck by the truck Nicholson was reportedly driving. Nicholson also faces charges out of Lane County.

Nicholson is scheduled to appear in Coos County Circuit Court before Judge Martin Stone at 1:00 pm today (Friday). He remains lodged at the Coos County Jail in Coquille after being picked up by Coos County law enforcement.
