North Bend Physician Homicidal Death Investigation Continues

The investigation into the death of a local doctor following a suspected home invasion is continuing. 45-year-old Dr. Craig Joshua Jackson, who was a practicing physician at Bay Clinic, was found dead of homicidal violence on August 2nd following a 911 call to his home at 3721 Stanton Avenue in North Bend. Coos County District Attorney Paul Frasier says investigators are still actively working the case, but there are no details to release. Earlier this month, Frasier said it appears the incident was a targeted home invasion. Because Dr. Jackson was the target, he and investigators do not believe the public is in danger. When asked recently, Frasier did say the incident was not random and investigators are working hard to identify the suspect however he was unable to go into details.
