North Bend Police Department and the Oregon Youth Authority served a felony warrant to a residence in the area of Virginia Avenue and Virginia Court around 2:30 on March 5th. When contacting the subjects inside the suspect allegedly jumped from the second-story window and began fleeing on foot and ran into a heavily wooded area. A K9 unit was requested to assist with the apprehension. Police officers chased the juvenile on foot through numerous residential and private properties and was later located near the front entrance of the North Bend Community Center. The suspect was arrested on the Felony Warrant and Third-Degree Escape.
