North Bend School Board is set to vote on a resolution opposing the Governor’s controversial K-12 Mask Mandate at its meeting tonight (8/26). The resolution to oppose the mandate was written by a board member. The Governor has pledged punitive action on schools and teachers if the mandate is not enforced. The board will also discuss and vote on a resolution opposing teaching Critical Race Theory. Tonight’s meeting has been moved to the cafeteria at North Bend Middle School and starts at 6 o’clock. It will also be available online at the district’s YouTube channel.
