Oregon Coast Community Action has named Drew Farmer as its new Executive Director. The Coos, Curry, and Coastal Douglas community action agency. Farmer currently serves Coos Bay as a city councilor and headed up Bay Area Enterprises. He has served in the US Navy and attended SWOCC and Portland State University. ORCCA Board Chair Anna Huit is thrilled with the decision saying Farmer is a community champion and leader who will take the agency to the next level. Farmer takes the helm in mid-December. Oregon Coast Community Action is a private non-profit organization as the Community Action Agency for the south coast. It has been in existence since 1965.
