The Oregon Patriot Guard will escort and stand a flag line in honor of “Gold Star Mother” Ruth Dennhardt Wiley. Wiley was an avid follower of PGR and South Coast Patriot Guards after she and her husband Jim of North Bend lost their son, Army LTC James L Wiley, in 2008 during “Operation Enduring Freedom” in Afghanistan. The group will stage at Holy Redeemer Church in North Bend where her service will be held on November 18th. She will be escorted to Sunset Memorial Park following the 11:30 Service. Wiley was well-known in the community for her service and for dedication to many students of the North Bend School District where she worked. She was a life-long resident of North Bend who passed earlier this month.
