Police Seek Leads for Stolen Electrical Panel near Englewood

The Coos Bay Police Department is seeking leads or the location of an electrical meter panel that was placed in Englewood for the Coalbank Village. Police say that between 3:30 PM yesterday and 6 AM this morning an unknown subject stole the panel for the homeless tent site that’s still under construction. The panel consisted of a large gray electrical box with smaller electrical meter boxes and a long electrical gutter on the other side. The boxes were mounted to marine-grade plywood and two pressure-treated posts. Authorities say the suspect used a chainsaw to cut through the electrical conduits. The stolen property is estimated at 20-thousand-dollars. If you have seen the stolen panels or have a lead the Coos Bay Police Department would like to hear from you by calling 541-26-8911 and talking to Officer Labrousse and reference case number P20211742.
