Sheriff Zanni to Retire After 46 years with CCSO

Coos County Sheriff Craig Zanni has announced that after 46 years with the Coos County Sheriff’s Office he will not be seeking reelection. Zanni started his career in law enforcement over 51 years ago and began his career with CCSO on Valentine’s Day in 1977. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work in most of the positions within the sheriff’s office. He also stated that his reason for not seeking reelection was done after prayer and input from his family. Zanni said he is grateful for the support shown to not only himself but the entire staff and department during his 46 years. Though Zanni will not be seeking reelection, Coos County Sheriff Captain Gabriel Fabrizio and Deputy Michael Kinnaird are running for Sheriff in the 2022 Election.
