The Friends of Shore Acres have begun planning the 34th Annual Holiday Lights after the event was canceled last year due to the pandemic. Shore Acres will light up with over 325-thousand LED lights in their walk-through display. The event will open on Thanksgiving Day and run through New Year’s Eve. The lights are strung by Friends of Shore Acres, Park Rangers, and over 1500 volunteers. Admission is $5 dollars. Officials say visitors should plan their visit during the week as traffic backs up during peak hours on the weekend. Shore Acres Holiday Lights have been a tradition since 1987.
