The Coos Bay-North Bend Visitor & Convention Bureau will participate in a study that will look at the impact of nonprofit arts and culture on the economy. The Americans for the Arts and Economic Prosperity 6 or AEP6 study is the sixth of its kind. The VCB is one of over 380 participating in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The study builds on a 25 year legacy to examine the impact on the Coos Bay Area. Each community that participates will receive a customized economic impact report about the number of jobs supported, government revenue generated, and economic activity of its nonprofit arts and culture sector.
