Today marks the 10th Anniversary of the Tohoku Earthquake and the resulting Tsunami that did millions of dollars in damage on the Oregon Coast and destroyed the coast of Japan. Our own Cascadia Subduction Zone just off the Oregon Coast is capable of creating an earthquake and tsunami of the same magnitude with devastating results and loss of major infrastructure.
