The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a High Wind Warning. Expect south winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph on the South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast between Gold Beach and Bandon. The Warning is from 8 AM to 5 PM PDT Thursday. Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
