*** HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM MONDAY TO 1 AM TUESDAY ***
A HIGH WIND WARNING has been issued by the National Weather Service in Medford. Expect south winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph. Gusts to 75 mph are possible over exposed headlands. The Warning Area includes the South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast, from Cape Arago southward. This includes along Highway 101 from Bandon south to Brookings.
* IMPACTS…Wind this strong can blow down trees and power lines resulting in power outages. Travel will be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. If you are experiencing a power outage, DO NOT CALL 911, report the outage to your electrical provider.
