*** CANCELLATIONS, DELAYS and CLOSURES for February 24 ***
— The campuses of Southwestern Oregon Community College, in both Coos and Curry counties, are closed, Friday, February 24, 2023, due to hazardous weather and road conditions. Day and night classes are canceled. We expect classes to resume on Monday, February 27, 2023.
— Coquille School District will have a two hour delay anticipating icy roads on Friday.
— Due to anticipated icy road conditions, all North Bend schools are closed Friday February 24th. All evening activities are also canceled.
— Due to snow, freezing temperatures, and a shortage on staffing, the Myrtle Point School District will be closed Friday, February 24th.
— All Bandon schools will be on a 2 hour delay on Friday, 02/24/23 due to inclement weather. Buses will run the same route 2 hours later than their regular scheduled times. Breakfast will not be served. We will monitor the weather and notify you of any changes if necessary.
— Due to wet roads throughout the district and temperatures expected to drop well below freezing, Coos Bay Public School District has canceled all classes Friday, February 24. School will resume at normal time Monday.
