WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT

*** WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM TUESDAY TO 10 AM WEDNESDAY ABOVE 500 FEET ***

* Snow expected above 500 feet. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, except up to 8 inches in higher terrain. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph, strongest Tuesday afternoon and evening. On the South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast, including Humbug Mountain and other areas away from the beaches. From 4 PM Tuesday to 10 AM Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

* Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

* Carry tire chains and be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibility.

* A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties.
